POLICY & AFTERCARE

Policy:
We will NOT be able to perform on your eyebrows if any of the following conditions exist:

Pregnant
-
Breastfeeding
-
Under the age of 18. California state law prohibited any tattooing of a minor.

Sick (Cold, Flu, Etc)
-
Chemo treatments
-
Diabetes.
-
If any skin diseases, symptoms, or irritation appears on the eyebrow- such as eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, scabies, ringworm, acne, allergic reaction, boils, wounds, severe scaling keratosis, damaged capillaries.

Directly after botox treatment
-
If you are using any strong retinoids. Please wait after 6 months.

If you are suffering from a sunburn
-
Uncontrolled high blood pressure
-
Heart condition
-
Chemical peel, dermabrasion, or botox. Please wait after 3 weeks
-
Moles and other skin derivatives (scars) on the brow area. Moles do not take pigment so the mole will still remain and we will work around the area.

If you are allergic to lidocaine, please notify your technician because it is the numbing agent we use. Lidocaine is commonly used at the dentist.

Notify your technician if you have ever had any type of treatment done to your brow area.

Due to California state law no other person or animal, besides service animal, is allowed in the room during the procedure.

We reserve the right to refuse services.

Touch ups are highly recommended. To ensure great results we recommend booking your touch up appointment within 6-8 weeks

​Before Your Arrival:
-
To avoid excessive bleeding, please avoid blood thinners:
Do not consume alcoholic beverages 24 hours before
No caffeine the day of procedure
Please refrain from consuming pain relievers/killers unless directed by your physician.
Please stop any fish oil or biotin one week prior to arriving.

If you normally draw your eyebrows, please fill them in prior to the appointment and wear your makeup the way you normally would
-
Do not exercise on the day of your procedure.

Healing generally takes about 14 days. So, please plan accordingly.

Aftercare:​
-
No rubbing, picking or scratching at any scabbing. Let them naturally exfoliate away. Picking can cause scarring or loss of color.
-
No botox, chemical treatments, microdermabrasion, or facials for 4 weeks.
-
Avoid direct sun exposure or tanning for 4 weeks. Wear a hat and sunscreen when outdoors.

Avoid: sleeping on your face for 10 days.
-
Avoid face-down swimming, lakes, and hot tubs for 10 days.
-
Avoid hot showers, steam, and heavy sweating for 10 days.
-
Please wait until tattoo has peeled before applying makeup to the tattooed area.

Help your permanent makeup heal faster by applying aquaphor. DO NOT put ointment on a wet or damp tattoo. Please pat dry the tattoo.
