Frequently Asked Questions

Who can benefit from semi-permanent makeup?

Those with little time to apply makeup. Those that suffer from hair loss, for example: cancer. Those that have allergies to conventional . makeup.

What is Microblading?

Microblading can be best described as tattoo artistry, it is a semi-permanent procedure where we take a special handheld tool and individually draw out EACH hair stroke on your brow.  It gives you the most natural look, and it's not nearly as painful as actual tattooing.  The hypoallergenic, mineral-based pigments last from 1-3 years, depending on your skin type. No special care is required, except maybe a touch- up every year. That means less time in the front of a mirror, and more time to do the things that matter most.

What is Ombre Powder?

Ombre Powder Brows is another form of semi-permanent makeup where we use a machine to shade in your brows where the tails of the brow are darker, and slowly fades as it moves towards the front of the brows, giving a solid effect that creates a defined and vintage look. Unlike permanent tattooing, which fades overtime, ombre coloring remains consistent. This technique differs from Microblading in that we create powdery filled brows similar to the look of makeup, as opposed to simulated hair. Ombre powder last up to 3 years, depending on skin type, which means potentially 3 years of hassle-free,crawl-out-of-bed-and-ready-to-go brows!

What is Combo Brows?

Combo Brows is considered the "ultimate brow treatment". It offers the best of both worlds, Microblading and Ombre powder, working in perfect harmony to achieve a beautifully natural-yet-defined brow. Many clients love the idea of a natural effect at the front of the brow and a more defined look towards the arch and tails. Using a combination method, we build up the front of the eyebrow with a natural wispy hair stroke effect and use a powder effect going through to the ends to give the client that little bit more than a hair stroke brow but not as much as a powder brow. A great and very popular in-between option.

Does it hurt?

Everyone has a different pain tolerance but the numbing agent helps with the discomfort.  Some falls asleep, some might feel a little bit discomfort if they are sensitive.

How long does it take?

2.5-3.5 hours. Depending on your brows.

Do I need a touch up appointment?

   Yes! It is highly recommended.
